The Catamounts take to the road after a successful homestand against the Mercer Bears. On the road for a midweek game, the Cats travel to Kennesaw, Ga. to face the Kennesaw State Owls. The Owls were on a four-game win streak over the Cats until last season when the Cats broke the streak with a 12-11 victory in Cullowhee. The same thing will happen this weekend against Wofford. If we lose the first game all the negative posters will come out. If we win on Friday, it will be crickets. If we lose the series, they will be very active with burning dumpster pictures and all. If we win the series, it will be crickets. This board is for sharing thoughts and opinions though so whatever is posted as long as it is respectful is welcome. I see why people are frustrated with athletics at Western and if we all agreed it would be boring. |

I don’t feel the need to compliment the team for a win, when I’m not the one looking forward to the next loss so I can call for all of the coaches to be fired and point out all of the flaws. What I do feel the need for is to balance out the barrage of negativity from a few of you by defending the programs leadership from time to time. I get the feeling that if (🙏) they went on a winning streak that carried them to Omaha, we wouldn’t here from you for the rest of the season until they lost again. |
