It’s like Abe Lincoln said about making all people happy all the time. I am sure that some players will say good things and others will not say good things. By the nature of the job, I am sure any head coach at the college level will have supporters and detractors. A head coach makes decisions based on the abilities of players and all players want to play. Some will get playing time and others will not. So if you get to play, you probably love the head coach. Otherwise, not so much. I think that his legacy will be a combination of all stakeholders. There are also people that have already decided that Moranda is the only reason we are not winning championships every year and they already think that Moranda has no redeeming qualities based on the posts that they have made here over the past several months. You post junk, even when you don't know what you are posting about. No on ever said or even implied that Moranda had no redeeming qualities. Yes, some of us felt it was time for a change, and it was/is time. However that's not a putdown on the man, maybe he could have done more with more support from the administration, but that was not, and is not forthcoming. Baseball needs more upgrades in facilities than any other sport, but nothing is on the way. I do thank and appriciate all the updrages that Moranda was able to accompolish in his years at WCU, it's too bad the administrations in charge during his tenure at WCU did not help him. I am certainly not the only one that thinks that many folks on this board were laying all the blame at Maranda’s feet. Also, I was not replying to you and I did not refer to you at all Sir. You must have taken offense because you were posting negative things about the program and about Coach Moranda. Please feel free to ignore my post and block me if you wish, because I do not care what you think about what I post. |

We are going to have a new head coach announced pretty soon...
I have it from a good source that things are moving quickly.
