WCU baseball head coach Alan Beck completed his coaching staff with the addition of JD Mundy as a volunteer assistant and Seth Graves as the Director of Player Development. Mundy comes to Cullowhee after spending the past two years in the Baltimore Orioles farm system after a standout career split between Virginia Tech and Radford. Completing his playing career with three seasons on the Catamount baseball roster, Graves moved into the Director of Player Development role soon after the announcement of Beck's hiring. Graves batted .290 during his three years in Cullowhee, collecting 94 base hits including 34 for extra bases with 26 doubles, a triple, and seven home runs – five coming during his senior season. He scored 94 runs with a .407 on-base percentage that included 58 career walks and 10 HBPs, while posting 68 RBI.
