Seven Michigan State football players were charged with assault in the aftermath of a fight with University of Michigan players following their game on Oct. 29, according to the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office.
The incident occurred in a tunnel after Michigan’s 29-7 win over Michigan State.
The prosecutor's office announced on Wednesday that defensive back Khary Crump was charged with one count of felonious assault, which is a felony. Each of the other 6 players were charged with misdemeanors — 5 changed with aggregated assault and the other charged with assault and battery.
