I was there Saturday, it was a really good event, lots of players and coaches there. I found out also that Williams has to sit out this year as he already transferred once to WCU.
If you haven't watched the video of the event I suggest you do!

What if they have a couple of receivers have great years and then he doesn't see playing time in 2024. After seeing the WR's we have, not sure we'll miss him.

I don’t think we will miss him either. I think he would have been better off staying at Western. Better to be a big fish in a small pond than an average fish in a big lake or ocean. I got the impression that he was all about himself and not the team.

I don't have any inside information, but it sure seemed like Kade might've brought him to Tusculum, developed him, brought him to Western and developed him further, and then when he left - as was his right - he didn't have much to say in the way of "thanks" - at least not publicly. Hope that wasn't the case.

Hope that wasn't the case. From what I hear from within the team, he was a cancer in the locker room. Brought morale down especially after games where “he felt” he wasn’t targeted enough during the game. So, yes, the prima-donna comments were directed towards him. As a whole, the players are glad he is gone. NOT a team player.

Here’s hoping he finds some opportunity to mature out there amongst the Aztecs

If he has to wait a year to play he might end up running routes for FedEx

Maybe it is just me, but I'd prefer we talk about the signing event, what we have, and what we are getting ready to get vs a guy who is gone. He was huge for us in year 1, saw diminished numbers in year 2, but given he had lots of interest to move up a level he is clearly a good player. Wish him well and let's focus on the Cats versus a former Cat.
