Since the NIL rules came into effect, many attractive female college athletes have cashed in. Not because of their athletic prowess but because of their good looks and toned physiques. Who can blame the athletes, because they are making hay while the sun is shining. I read that some of these coeds have only fans accounts where they show even more. In my opinion, this will eventually cause a backlash in women’s college sport because the star player on a given team might not be the most appealing photogenically which will cause jealousy and strife on some of the women’s teams. You can be an average player, but could rake in big bucks because of their looks. Not sure this is what was intended. www.nytimes.com/2022/11/08/sports/ncaabasketball/olivia-dunne-haley-jones-endorsements.html

There might be angry feminists out there, but the women quoted in this article seemed pretty even-handed about it. Seems like good-looking male athletes will also be generally more likely to benefit.
