he Western Carolina track & field teams open the outdoor portion of their season on Friday and Saturday, March 24-25, as the Catamounts compete at the Weems Baskin Invitational hosted by South Carolina at Cregger Track in Columbia, S.C.
In addition to Western Carolina and meet host South Carolina, Southern Conference foes The Citadel and Furman are scheduled to compete. The field also includes student-athletes from Augusta University, Benedict College, Charlotte, Claflin University, Coastal Carolina, College of Charleston, Coppin State, Davidson, Delaware State, High Point, Lander, Limestone, Marshall, Maryland Eastern Shore, Monroe College, Morgan State, North Carolina A&T, Newberry College, North Greenville, Radford, SCAD-Savannah, Savannah State, South Carolina State, South Carolina, Southern Wesleyan, Troy, UMBC, USC Aiken, USC Beaufort, Virginia State, Virginia Tech, and Virginia Union.
