This is so true. God Bless the many that fought for our freedom, and the many that got injured, and the ones that lost their lives. The Gold Star mothers and fathers, as well as wives, husbands, siblings and children that were left behind, please remember them as well.
Go Cats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Watched the PBS show from the Washington last night and it delivered strong memories of my C-130 crew loading bodies at Tan Son Nhat in 1968 and delivering them back to the West Coast. I guess I was blessed not to have been on the ground in the rice paddies. Truly a sad and confusing time.

I remember reading my draft notice in the radio station on the ground floor of Killian in the fall of '72. (Lottery #35.) Went on a bus to Knoxville for my physical and passed. Nixon canceled the draft in December - before I received notice to report.
