GREENSBORO — The organization that accredits High Point University has placed the university on warning, citing concerns about student support services, among other issues. The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges posted a notice of the warning on its website. In SACSCOC's notice, posted earlier this summer, the organization said it had continued High Point University's accreditation, but placed it on warning. According to the statement, the organization's Board of Trustees determined the university had failed to demonstrate compliance with one core requirement and two standards. Those are: -providing appropriate student support services (core requirement) -identifying and measuring expected student learning outcomes, and providing evidence of seeking improvement based on that analysis -publication of accreditation status greensboro.com/news/local/education/high-point-university-sacscoc-accreditation/article_7235c182-3c47-11ee-abb5-7f722c769f5b.html
