what are everyone's thoughts on what coach said tonight? Do you think he is trying to put on an overly positive face or do you really think he believes that we can win out and head into the playoffs?

There is no doubt he believes that we will win. I would hope all the coaches and players are confident. Has the sentiment on the board now shifted to think we are in the bottom 3rd of the conference and will be lucky to beat 3 of the bottom 4 teams? I know winning is not easy, but we should be the favored team and should all be confident we can win these last 3.
Not overconfident or cocky. Not expecting we just show up and win. But we should be confident.

I really do think we have the players and coaching to win out. Of course, it all starts with the next game and cleaning some things up. We do that and the rest will take care of itself. WCU had to handle a lot of adversity the past two weeks and I think they will be able to put all that behind them and respond well going forward. I really believe in the product being put together thus far, in spite of what has happened the past two games against really solid teams. I would not have as much confidence if I didn't see the fight in the team like they displayed the past two week against some really difficult situations on the field.

I really think he believes it and really so do I. If we win the next 3, I am 99.9% sure we get in, no matter what happens around us. But if Furman can beat Chatty and Samford beats Mercer, that essentially increases it to 100%.

I just have my wife login and I watch under her account It would probably be a good idea for the school (and Hooker and his media relations team) to maybe put these out in other places like YouTube. Get a broader reach, make it easier to find, etc.

Sounds like from the Coaches show Dez and AJ will be back at practice tomorrow. Didn't really hear anything about Derek Simmons on the O-line. The defense sounds like it is back to close to 100% (minus the guys who have been out all/most of the year). It will be interesting to see if Reid really is ready if we play him. If healthy it would be good to see him get some game reps - I know more rest is probably good, but if we make the playoffs it would be nice for him to be as "game-ready" as possible and some live action would help IMO. Again - only if he is no doubt 100%.

My biggest fear is Dez getting in the game and breaking a long run. I'll be biting my nails watching him run full speed.
