Magnus Pedersen has been selected as the Southern Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week for all competition to this point in the fall.
Pedersen finished tied for third at the Golfweek Challenge in Pawley’s Island, South Carolina, which wrapped play Tuesday. The redshirt senior from Moss, Norway, posted rounds of 66-67-68 for a tournament score of 201 (-15). Pederson’s 201 marks the best three-round score of his Catamount career, highlighted by his career-best round of 66 in the first round. He had the second-best score of all golfers in the field on par-4 holes during the tournament as he had an average of 3.79 on those holes.
