After a nearly a month hiatus, Western Carolina women's tennis is slated to return to the courts on Friday to take part in the Spartan Fall Invitational, hosted by conference foe UNCG. The three-day tournament is slated to be contested at the UNCG Tennis Courts in Greensboro.
The Catamounts are slated to compete against student-athletes from Longwood, N.C. A&T, Appalachian State, Hampton, East Carolina, and the host Spartans. WCU is currently scheduled to battle the Pirates in singles play on Friday with doubles play on Saturday. The schedule for Sunday is to be determined for the seven teams in Greensboro.
