How many years of eligibility does he get? The man’s been in college for 10 years. Lol

I see he already has offers from Charleston Southern, Alabama A&M and Houston Christian today.

Just so I am clear, the transfer portal opens on Monday (12/3) for the majority of players, but Grad transfers or kids from schools where the coach is no longer there are free to be offered at any time, right?
And yeah - had no idea that Carlos still had another year. But I guess with the COVID season guys can get a 6th year for “the season that didn’t count”. Is this the last year of that group?

I think Carlos is transferring this time as a grad transfer, so he can enter the portal any time.

He started a few games and played pretty well before his injury. But I'm not sure he played in more than four games.

The 4 games shouldn’t matter - Carlos I believe finished his RS Junior season with WCU. He was listed on the UMass roster as a RS Senior. This next year is the special “6th season” kids are getting because of the COVID year.
In his college career he will have played at: Fort Scott Community College East Mississippi Community College Western Carolina University UMass And now presumably a 5th school
That is a long road. If he turns that into both an Undergrad and Graduate degree, good for him.

He may get a PHD or at least a couple of Masters before he is done. I am happy to see kids get an education with their athletic abilities. That is using the system the right way.
