Vonterius Woolbright G Western Carolina 2021 present 5
Pretty good company. I love how Western fans and other SoCon teams say that Woolbright is not good enough to play in the NBA because he “can’t shoot the long ball, his game is unorthodox, he does not play against stiff enough competition, he parts his hair the wrong way, etc., etc. but every game he performs and is always the best player on the court and no one can stop him although opposing teams know exactly what he is going to do. Also, he tied Steph Curry for most SoCon player of the week honors and has won every player of the month award in the SoCon this year. I say just watch what he does because he is a winner and a pro! The numbers just keep on coming. He is one of the top 1 or 2 players to play for Western since they joined D1 in the mid_70s. He is probably the best player we have ever had that makes the players around him better. Stats don’t lie.
