Still a long way from the majors. Does he have a chance if he does well in double A? He is 23 and that is old for a pitcher isn’t it? I mean old for being called up to the majors.

The rule of thumb for years was "if you haven't made the Bigs within five years of signing" then odds were against you. But, with the way MLB teams are handling pitchers in the minor leagues today (limiting pitches, innings, rest between appearances), some promising prospects might not make it up for six or seven years. Zebby is in only his third year of pro baseball and from what I have read, he is probably scheduled for AAA next year and then given a shot at the Twins roster in 2026. I've watched him since Little League here in Jackson County and he might be the hardest working baseball player I've seen. He is a about 6-5, 220 with a very strong body and great arm. I will be VERY surprised if he doesn't make it to the Twins in 2026.
