What does this mean for smaller FCS schools like WCU? So we won't know who is coming till they have to enroll? No more signing days?

What does this mean for smaller FCS schools like WCU? So we won't know who is coming till they have to enroll? No more signing days? I wondered The same thing. Does it mean that we can offer a kid a scholarship and he is not committed until he enrolls in the spring or fall? If that’s the case, FCS and G5 schools especially will not know for sure who they have in the class until the student athlete enrolls. That would mean a kid could “commit” to Western and be a free agent until the fall. So if he gets offered a scholarship and NIL money, he or she can decide to take it and leave the first school high and dry. Essentially what they have done is opened the door to year long recruiting. Whatever it is, you know it does not help anyone below the P4 elite level. Maybe Western could tie them up by immediately enrolling all recruits in distance learning classes. lol.
