My oldest daughter graduated from FAU and we had season tickets for a couple of seasons, so I pay at least a little attention to them. The funny thing is that I don't think Kittley was really that high on any Twitter lists. The media/social media was all about bigger and flashier names like Charlie Weiss Jr. and even Ray Lewis. If anything, I thought FAU might be a more realistic spot for Bell to step up but go back to FL. So I am glad they have made a quick hire that wasn't a guy with Bell as his last name (Kade or Kerwin).

Going back to them hiring Lane Kiffin, the Owls have been primarily about hiring a big name to generate as much buzz as possbible, and this seems a little unlike them.
