I remember taking a bowling class in Reid for one of my PE electives. Had to watch out for those pins  and that is a great video of Scott beach....those were the days! |

I was a WCC freshman in 1961 and we had to wear my beanie to every event on campus until the night before the homecoming football game. There would be a bonfire at the Friday night pep rally and afterwards freshmen could throw their beanies into the fire, but most keep them, but didn't have to wear them again. I still have mine... It seemed like a silly thing, but as I look back on it, it helped made me a more "outgoing" person (if I needed any help). During my work career, I was one of the few people at our location who would speak to other people as I met them in the hall. |
