If you haven't been to campus lately, there is new signage ever where. It looks great to have one style, all over campus. WCU signs off on massive directional signsThe Western Carolina University Campus is experiencing a transition in decoration and direction. New signs of all sizes have popped up in front of campus buildings and roadways directing students, faculty, staff and visitors where to go and how to get there. Ongoing for a few years, the project has caused interest, controversy, and a bit of hilarity. www.westerncarolinian.com/news/wcu-signs-off-on-massive-directional-signs-1.2765424#.T1bgk_Egea8

I noticed one near Breese Gym when we came over for the App game a couple of weeks ago. Although nice, I can understand the correlation between cost and budget problems.
Just as long they don't have the boondoggle the City of Asheville did.

^^^ This was NOT necessary if our school is having budget problems. Um. ugly because they are so BIG. Uh. HUGE! Um. what about the signage near the library. 2 signs? 2 huge signs. Really? Whoever researched and made the sign decisions messed up. Our campus has what other schools don't (ol tacky Appy) visual appeal, we have to build with certain parameters and restore to keep this appeal. Our campus could be running behind Furman if we keep it together.
