I'd like your opinion on something. I'm thinking of changing the Catamount Sport Forum's URL from its current long, un-remember-able URL (http://httpwcuproboardscom.proboards.com/) to something much shorter, like "catamount.boards.net"
What do you think? Will this help folks better remember how to access this site? Is a change in URL wise after being at the old one for over 3 years? I'll only have automatic redirects from the old URL to the new one for a 2 week period, and anyone not changing their bookmarks to the new URL, may not be able to find us.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

It better, but if you can find URL like catamountForum.net that is direct and to the point. try to keep away from sub-domain like "catamount.boards.net". just try to keep away from URL with More than one dot. but i think your on the right track.

Jerry, I'm in Doesn't matter to me: forum , board, catamountnation, etc. I would send a PM to everyone weeks before you do it. Ask for a reply back so you know who 'got it'. A lot of us come on here all the time while some you see for a particular sport or univ event. Those seasonal are the ones you hopefully will catch with the PM reply. Colors and letters look great.

It should make it easier for folks new to the Catamount Nation to find the forum, so I'm in.

I'm all for bringing back the original WCU message board circa 1998-99. Bring back the Catamount Crawler!
