Why must you be so negative, if you're a fan, then you should support them win or lose. If the fans don't have their backs, then who does?

I've been supporting the Catamounts probably longer than you've been around. I think I've earned the ability to call a spade a spade. While I support Catamount athletics, I don't blindly support them, a conference championship every century would be nice.

Western Carolina exploded on a 17-5 run coming out of the halftime break, and Georgia Southern never recovered as the Eagles fell, 71-62, on Saturday in Hanner Fieldhouse. It was the¬fourth-straight loss for the Eagles. "I’m embarrassed," said GSU coach Charlton Young. "This is the most embarrassing loss I’ve had since I’ve been head coach here. We’ve got to do some soul searching and find a way to play with some heart and soul, and like a Georgia Southern team."The teams were tied, 34-34 at intermission, but Catamounts guard Trey Sumler drilled a 3-pointer right out of the gate, and Western Carolina (9-15, 6-6 Southern Conference) never looked back. read more here

Consistent bench play is what this team is missing. It would help ease pressure off the starters to know that the bench can be relied on. I expect mike brown and Preston Ross to string together solid games. Don't give up on them! They will pull it together

This team started the season with an incredible amount of good will. By Feb., with sloppy play, they have burned it. Let's hope that this road win is the turning point.

In my opinion, we always say - "wait until next year"! After the SoCon run last year, we were saying, we have a lot of returning players with experience to go actually do something in 2013. However, we are in the 4Q of our season and still there does not seem to be an answer to our inconsistent play. My problem is that Hunter has been here for a long time and did generate some buzz with a couple of division titles and the run last year, but come on - we deserve more! Just like football, I think we need a fresh start. Hunter has been good, but his time has come and if he can't produce this year, then we should go with someone who can energize the base again, especially with this group returning as seniors. I have hope that Hunter can turn it around like he did last year, but the more this team plays, the more they seem to be heading in the opposite direction.
