Both Friday and Saturday when he entered the game, the lead was three runs or less.

Thanks, I was so busy trying to stay warm Saturday that I forgot we scored several runs in the bottom of the 8th.

I was not in Cullowhee today, but I'm confident the weather was brutal. A couple of texts from folks on the scene indicated so. Especially with the temp. hovering just above freezing all afternoon and the wind chill taking it down into the low 20's. It's amazing we didn't make any errors. Looking at the box score, FR Catcher Danny Bermudez caught today, Dale Jr. started at DH and two FR pitchers got to take the mound. I hate we had to use Hatch again today, but when he came in with 2 out and 2 on in the top of the 8th, the tying run was at the plate. We were only up 12-9 at that point. Need to complete the sweep tomorrow with Morgan McK on the hill and get ready for Wake Forest to come across Balsam Gap on Tuesday. Adam Curtis will surely be the starter against WF. He carried most of the mid-week water last year. O yea it was!!! We still had about 30 ppl on the hill for Saturday, yet Sunday was less, perhaps ppl sleeping in. We posted some video of the snow on the website... www.leftfieldlunatics.com

I noticed that the coach started a right handed batter over Valley League All Star Jacob Hoyle, does he not check out the summer stats, Hoyle hit around .340 with half of his HRs against lefties, one I recall was a monster shot over the trees in right field to win a game.

Hello, Wayneboro !!! Thanx for checking in. I know you all enjoyed having Julian Ridings, Jacob Hoyle and Adam Curtis up there this summer. You had 3 of our best. Jacob is a stud... He can hit any kind of pitching... I think Coach Mo was just trying to give Dale Jr a couple of AB's. He's got several guys that will need a little PT along to keep them from getting stale. Luke, Boomer, Dale Jr... I don't know if they are planning to red-shirt Reece Strong or not. But he had not have an appearance in the first 4 games. We are really deep with real quality players this year. That's a good problem.
