Looking forward to the best weekend series, weather wise, as temps flirt with 70 today, mid 70's this weekend and no threat for rain or even clouds! Perfect spring baseball weather. Game wise, this is going to be crucial series for us... With Samford two spots down in the SoCon standings, we need to win the series to ensure we stay in the top five, as our next SoCon series against GA Southern will be a tough one. All about SoCon play. This year we hope to bring the Left Field Lunatics down to Greenville and maybe our supoprt can help push our boys past the postseason curse we have had for almost 8 years.

The Cats, Nice overview on your site and im definetly looking forward to seeing how their on the fence road record (5-6) pans out against our somewhat better than average home record of 11-7 (61% winning percentage at home).
Only 13 home games left, 20 overall on the season. im routing for a 65% home winning perecentage this year (means we need to win out at least 9 more games at home, a tough figure to reach but we have high standards here in the Whee). Last years home winning perecentage was 73% (19-7).
Last years home loss to AppState and the boone goones still has a bitter taste in my mouth. would have loved to stop them at 39, but alas they took 40 on the season and rubbed salt all over the wounds. lol. also enjoyed the rants by Dr. gonzo if any recalls that convo.

The link for video is not working for me. I'll follow the game with Samford radio and GameTracker. It's working. Copy and paste just as it is, don't add http: you should get a black screen with a white triangle in the middle, click on the white triangle and the game should come on. Let me know.

Hatcher is only a shadow of the pitcher he was last year. He was lights-out nearly every time last year. But he's had very very few 1-2-3 9th innings this year. Someone is going to get a hit or he's going to walk somebody. Today was the worst outing of the year.
