Ok, we have a team that won the SoCon Regular Season Championship last year setting school and conference records, has been ranked 1st in the SoCon by the SoCon writers and coaches as well as nationally ranked 31st and 41st by two other polls.

This team has 2 Preseason All Americans, Preseason Player and Pitcher of the Year as well as 5 Preseason SoCon first team All-Conference players. The guys have been working to get where they are and now the fans need to step up and support one of WCU's most successful teams.

What more can you ask for before a season starts?

I keep hearing about how great it used to be with all the fan support, this is disappointing. When I go to games all I see are player’s parents, the faithful few WCU fans (like SCC66 and others) and of course the Great, Powerful and Dependable Left Field Lunatics who are at every home game rain, snow, hot or cold.

It is time the students and baseball fans get off their duffs and support this team and make it like it used to be. Let’s put WCU back on the map!
