This thread can be used for posting articles about WCU players who participate in the Coastal Plains League during the Summer of 2014.
After a 2-year absence from the league, the Outer Banks Daredevils will be returning as one of of the CPL teams. I understand that Corey Martin (Catamount RHP 2006-2009 and Chicago Cubs minor league organization 2009-2011) is going to be the Pitching Coach for the Daredevils this summer. Corey is a teacher and coach at a school in the Outer Banks area, but has long-range aspirations to be a college pitching coach. This summer will allow him to start a process and establish some network contacts that will help him meet his goals. Here's wishing Corey well in this new venture.
