The Georgia Southern baseball coach started his playing career at Western Carolina in 1990, and remained there as an assistant and head coach until 1999 before coming to GSU.
It’s fitting then that the last regular season SoCon series in which Hennon will coach at Georgia Southern — the Eagles will join the Sun Belt Conference next season — is against Western Carolina."
