I thought some would be interested in the latest on Cal Raleigh.

Over the next few weeks Cal will have to decide whether to play professional baseball or enroll at Clemson. The firing of coach Leggett will have an impact on his decision.

Raleigh asks for release from Clemson

Cal Raleigh will play his college baseball somewhere, it just won't be Clemson.

The Smoky Mountain senior confirmed Tuesday that he has asked for a release from the scholarship he signed with the Tigers in November.

Raleigh signed with Clemson in November, but asked for and was granted his release by the Tigers last week.

Raleigh got his release from Clemson, wonder where he will end up? Is Western a possibility? There should be no bad feelings against Western by the Raleigh family, after all, Todd fired the Cats to go to Tennessee. Of course Western probably can not give Cal a full ride, if I were him, that would be my #1 priority.
