Jeremy was promoted recently from Class A to Class A+ (also called High A) by the Cubs and assigned to the Myrtle Beach Pelicans.
He started last night against the Carolina Mudcats and pitched well. The game was only 7 innings because it followed the resumption and completion of the Saturday game due to weather on Saturday night. Unfortunately, Jeremy got very little run support and lost 2-1. He gave up only 4 hits and 2 runs in 6 innings.
If anyone is going to be at the beach on vacation, you could go to the Pelicans website and look at the upcoming schedule to see when Jeremy is scheduled to pitch. If you see that date will fit with your vacation plans, go over to the ball park at 21st Avenue North and Grissom Parkway and support a former Catamount.
Jeremy is progressing well through the Cubs organization. And the Cubs look like they are going to be very competitive in the NL Central division for the foreseeable future.
