The Citadel has suspended three baseball players -- all starters -- for a violation of team rules, school officials told The Post and Courier on Wednesday night.
The players -- Drew Ellis, Austin Mapes and Phillip Watcher -- are suspended indefinitely.
The Citadel, 12-13 before Wednesday’s game at Coastal Carolina, plays a three-game series at non-conference foe Stetson this weekend.
