Hoping for a sweep and an early conference lead - although the Large Chihuahuas have one of the best overall records in the SoCon. BUt it hasn't been a tough schedule and the only quality win they have is Kentucky. They have lost to USC and Clemson and even split with PC - although PC gave us all we could handle.

When we get a quality start that goes into the 7th inning, we have a pretty good chance to win.... provided we have a very large run cushion that can hardly be squandered by the bullpen.
That happened yesterday and today vs. Wofford. Our offense opened a Can on Wofford both days. Who would have figured JD to hit a grand salami yesterday?
Sure hope we get the sweep tomorrow. If we do, we will be the only team with 1 loss (6-1), although UNCG will likely have no losses (3-0). They are one weekend behind everyone else on playing their SoCon weekend series. Having only 9 teams that play baseball means that someone plays OOC every weekend.

Outstanding win today to sweep the Wofford series.
Wofford's pitching was highly touted in Pre-Season reviews that I read. Makes one wonder... Are we better than we think? Or is Wofford worse than pre-season predictions?
