At the banquet Saturday, when the captains were announcing the team members some of them were not speaking into the mic well enough plus my hearing is not a good as it once was (along with some other stuff). I thought I heard one player announced as being from Michigan. But we have no one on the roster listed from Michigan. Does anyone have any insight on this?
One of the new pitchers, Taylor Purus, will not be playing this year because he is recovering from Tommy John surgery. He is a JUCO and will have 2 years left for 2018 and 2019.
I didn't know they had ever HEARD of Tommy John surgery down in Caldwell County (^_^). Down there, if somebody's arm goes bad, you just put it in a sling or shoot 'em. (^_^)
