Brown batted .455 (10-22) during six games with a double, two triples, and eight runs batted in. He struck out just one time in those 22 at bats. The 24 year-old from North Carolina was a key component in an eleven-inning victory against the Kannapolis Intimidators on July 19 when he tripled home a pair of runs in the top of the eleventh to break a 4-4 tie. The Power went on to win that Wednesday night 7-4.

Good report on Garrett. Glad he has apparently made up the time he lost by trying to play football for a loser like Wagner...

If he had played baseball only, he could have torn it up on the diamond for 3 years and been drafted in the 10th round or so.
