Just looked at the 2018 Baseball Roster posted on CatamountSports.com...
Lot and lots of newcomers. 15 of the 33 players listed are FR or RFR. Plus 6 JUCO's who did not play at WCU last year.
Only 6 pitchers who have ever been on the mound in a game at Western before. Only one of them has ever started a game in Cullowhee before.
Lots of experience returning behind the plate... Spencer Holcomb, Luke Robinson and Justin Sparks.
But not much experience otherwise. Only two players started a game in the INF last year (Caleb Robinson and Cameron Blaquiere). Only two players who started a game in the OF last year (Andrew Robinson and Matthew Koehler).
Hope the team chemistry comes together nicely. Quite a challenge for the coaching staff.
