We are truly in some unprecedented territory for Catamount baseball.
We have been swept by both VMI and Wofford. Neither has ever happened before in history.
At this point, I have no expectation of reaching double-figures in the W column.

It looks like Coach Mo wants to totally destroy the Baseball Program. I’m not sure what his problem is but he needs to be shown the door.

Western Carolina baseball dropped both ends of Saturday afternoon's doubleheader against VMI at Gray-Minor Stadium, suffering a three-game series sweep to the Keydets. VMI scored four late runs in game one to break an eight-all tie in taking game one, 12-9, before rallying from a 4-1 deficit in completing the sweep with a 5-4 victory in the finale.
The doubleheader win gave VMI its first home conference series sweep since 2014 while also relegating the Catamounts to 13-consecutive losses.

Let the excuses begin! Money! Money! Money! Bull&$?! Worst team in the entire country? Is change coming? How could any decent leader not see the need for change?

If it’s any consolation, the Cincinnati Reds have won 2 games.

The New Western Carolina Baseball Philosophy... Do Be Discouraged. Even if you are 3-31? Winning doesn't matter? You shouldn't care if the team isn't doing everything possible to right the ship. Be happy and have a great Attitude? Coach Mo you should be ashamed. Seriously!

Imagine this if you may. Same non producing players playing every game and the Same results. Are you kidding me. I have seen better coaching at the optimist park. We are 3-31. It is a horrible day to be a Catamount.

Accountable? Are you kidding? You would think that at 3-31 accountability would be the easiest thing to try to salvage from this season. There is no evidence of accountability on this team in my opinion. And you are correct jim68 it starts at the top. What a horrible mistake Mo is making by not stressing the importance of this. I know a lot teams that use accountability as the "A" in their TEAM acronym for motivation. From what I have witnessed this season there are many detrimental precedents being set by this coaching staff. I only hope that the players see through the BS they are being forced to accept and maintain their pride for Catamount Baseball.
I'm sure this is a very comfortable position for about 15 (hitters and pitchers) players on this team. It makes no difference WTF they do. The lineup is set. Complacency at its finest. I'm sure it is also a very perplexing to the rest who are left to wonder if it really does make a difference if you bust your butt and compete for an opportunity. Could be a very interesting future Catamount Baseball if this attitude become ingrained in Catamount Baseball. Good Luck this week Cats!
