I know this...I sent Coach Mo a video of a kid on my son's travel team hitting a 400 foot HR in the 14u AAU State Championshiip tournament this past weekend, instructing him to put the player on his watch list. So far, no reply.

Still no assistants? Doesn’t seem too many people interested in jumping on board the Tiitantic.

Unless you are a baseball player from his program (that he liked), he may acknowledge your e-mail -- eventually, with some excuse as to why he didn't get back to you earlier -- but, he won't do anything about it. You wasted your data plan sending the video. Sorry.

Well, if someday, we ever do decide to move on from Coach Moranda, I would suggest 2 names, 1: See if Todd Raleigh would return since he failed trying to hang with the big fish and come back to the friendly town of Cullowhee. I would love to see him return.
The second person I would contact, would be Billy Godwin. The former ECU baseball coach from 2006-2014, (not the current one in Cliff, who is the right man for that program) but Billy Godwin is a good coach and has never had a losing season, he also, was decently successful but ECU just was not the right place for him and it did not work out, (BTW he was never fired, his contract was never renewed by Compher), ECU got fed only because in the 9 years he did not make the college world series. But he would do wonders with WCU's baseball program, and he is not that expensive either. He is currently a scout for the Yankees, but he is too much a good coach not to have another chance coaching, but WCU would be a great place for him.
However, like I said unless Moranda has another season like last year or does something really bad, he is probably not going anywhere as the focus right now is more on football then basketball and baseball is the sacrificial lamb to those programs right now.

He can't coach, he can't recruit, he can't see talent standing right in front of his face. Mo's gotta Go for the players, the alumni, and the universities sake. I know for the players and the alumni it was unbearable what we witnessed this year. Now let's get the University to see the light.
