 Taylor Sandefur, a former two-way baseball standout for the Catamounts, returns home as an assistant coach announced this week by head coach Bobby Moranda. Sandefur joins the Catamount coaching staff after serving as an assistant coach at NCAA Division II-member, Erskine College in Due West, S.C., last season. |

Glad to see Taylor coming back to Cullowhee. He was a tremendous competitor when he played for The Cats. Lot of heart; lot of grit and guts.
SIDEBAR: I have no basis for evaluating Brock Doud and his performance as an Asst. Coach. He may have deserved to be fired. I don't know.
I have only a small amount of information to use in evaluating Nate Cocolin but somewhere in my gut, I believe he was used as a scapegoat.

Hmmm, I think I have seen this story somewhere before................oh yes, I believe Coach David Haverstick was also sent packing some years ago. Seems like history just repeats itself sometimes, doesn't it?
