Catamount Tyler White is on a tear with the Houston Astros. Batting over .400 over the past two weeks and raised his season average to .306. Had four RBI, including a HR, in win over A's Monday night. I think we will see him in the World Series.

This is bittersweet for me. I am so happy for Tyler White and what he has accomplished. Like I have mentioned before, I know him personally, his grandma (Patsy) and my mom were best friends and worked together in the Supply Room at Cone Mills (Cliffside) for many years and to see someone you actually know well do well, is wonderful. UNFORTUNATELY, it was against my Cleveland Indians, a team I have been rooting for for longer than Tyler has been on this earth. I long for the days my Indians will finally win the World Series and not just make the playoffs or make the World Series but win the dang thing. Now in the off season, my Tribe need to acquire Tyler White. Then life will be grand. Oh and RIP Chief Wahoo Logo!!! |
