Only if it is an early-season OOC game (preferably week 1), or lines up with our bye being before it. It is cool to be one of the few games going on, but it has to suck for players and coaches trying to prepare for a Thursday game if they just played Saturday - really only gives you 1 full practice on that Tuesday.

Thursday night games suck for attendance too. You play Thursday night games in the Sun Belch.

You are correct on attendance, its hard for a lot of people to get to a Thursday night game that may be out of town when they still have to work the next day. However, I would assume you are saying a Thursday night came in Cullowhee, I would say no to most Thursday night games, "Unless" it meant playing an important game in which WCU would be broadcasted on one of the major sports channels such as the ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPNNews, or Fox Sports, etc. But not an ESPN3 or ESPN+ game or a game that can either only be streamed via internet or radio only, then I would say no way. The other way I would be ok with a Thursday night game is if we are on the road and were playing an FBS opponent that either one had a great payout or their own TV network such as the Pac 12, BIG 10, SEC, ACC, and even the American (with ESPN).

That's what I meant about Thursday games. Thanks for explaining it.

There are college football games starting in the next couple of weeks on basically every night except Sunday and Monday (Sun Belt starts doing Tuesdays pretty soon). I typically watch whatever is on, but I generally don't know who is playing other than if FAU (my daughter's school) is playing - they have 2 Friday night games. But Thursday's typically suck bad for attendance at lower levels. NC A&T is playing on ESPN3 right now, and there is basically nobody in the stands.
Miami and UNC are playing, and there is a good crowd. But P5 schools can pull that off, and they are on ESPN (not ESPN3 or ESPN+).
