I have reached the low point of disappointment (or should I say peek disappointment) after listening to that Catamount Football Weekly.

If anything, the first several minutes of this interview shows exactly where he is going to lay the blame (special teams). Not that such a revelation is rocket science (and I am not blaming our punter or kicker because we know how good Berryman is and we have seen enough kicks go into the endzone to tell Horton is capable). But the head coach is specifically blaming the kicking game (primarily blocks and poor coverage) on multiple losses in an open forum like this.
I know most on here are saying "no kidding" on the poor ST play, but it is a pretty big deal for the coach to be that openly critical (in my opinion). That was pretty specific.

The interesting thing to me, if I heard him correctly or understood what he is saying, he said there was nothing wrong with blocking coverage they utilize for punts, it's just that one of the blockers misread something, leaving the kicker exposed, it's just one of those things that sometimes happens. Sounds like a first year pop-warner coach talk to me.

I have reached the low point of disappointment (or should I say peek disappointment) after listening to that Catamount Football Weekly. I wanted so much for your son & Smack’s son to leave Cullowhee as part of an outstanding team this season. However, just imagine how I feel after being disappointed for over 50 years. Believe me, I know how disappointed you & your son must feel at this point in the season. The main thing is to keep Ian free of injury so I can watch him next year in the NFL.

Friendly reminder to put down those drinks and cheer on Coach Prosser today! Today is Senior Day for the football team. Yes? The basketball game starts at 12. Plenty of time to get back out and watch the football game.

Football Seniors are my priority. This is a thread about their last game at home. Not basketball.

I am so thankful that I didn't now waste my time driving up to Cullowhee to watch such a poorly coached team as Western Carolina, the OC needs to go back to boone.

A team can't trade 3s for 7s and expect to win.
