D1Baseball.com was the latest online publication to release its preseason predictions for the Southern Conference in 2019, placing the Catamounts sixth in the league standings.
Previously, CollegeBaseballDaily.com pegged WCU seventh in its rankings with returning starters Chase Walter and Taylor Purus garnering all-conference props and Justice Bigbie slated as an honorable mention.
Official Southern Conference coaches and media preseason polls and all-conference teams will be revealed on Thursday, Feb. 7.

We have a tough schedule again. I have no idea about the new coaches. And a lot of new names on this roster. I hope we have a vastly improved season with our talent and tradition.
