If I have heard right about Elon they will be tough. They have some highly scouted arms especially Friday and Saturday guys. I’m hearing top couple rounds prospects. I went to a midweek game at Elon this year and they had 20 plus scouts there watching their pitcher. We need to bring our best bats this weekend and not give up so many free bases. Let’s go Cats!!

If I have heard right about Elon they will be tough. They have some highly scouted arms especially Friday and Saturday guys. I’m hearing top couple rounds prospects. I went to a midweek game at Elon this year and they had 20 plus scouts there watching their pitcher. We need to bring our best bats this weekend and not give up so many free bases. Let’s go Cats!! Their record, at 9-7 is not impressive, but they've won the games they should have and lost to NC State, ECU and Wake Forest. Lost two of three to Bryant (R.I.), but Bryant looks darn good too having won 2 games at VT, 2 @ Elon, and beating Wofford and Winthrop on the road. |

I just know what I seen when I went to watch them play midweek game. Bleachers full of scouts. Now when I went they didn’t swing it well so I am assuming their hitting isn’t as good as their pitching. In the end I still say we need to hit it and not shoot ourself in the foot with walks and errors. Feel like if we can do that we have a chance to beat them |
