This may not be an easy game. They swept Navy and beat South Carolina 10-2, split with Furman and App State, but then lost six of their last seven including the Wofford series mentioned above.

First time starting pitcher. Not a good show - but he is well regarded. See what he does next time before making a judgement. Base running mistakes in the first three innings cost us the game - unfortunately. I like the fact we are being aggressive, but we got caught. I still think Koehler was safe at home in the 1st.

On a positive note, can't ask for too much more in 8 innings of relief pitching.

I watched this on ESPN+ and I agree with Hook on the starter. I think he let his nerves get the best of him. I thought he showed a couple times that he has good stuff but needs to be able to repeat it. Mitschele and Moebius I think did a great job coming in and settling us down and giving us a chance to win. This weekend is when it counts anyway so let's hope they come out swinging it and pitching like we are capable and we'll be fine. Go Cats!!
