I know WCU has started to sell the 3 game pack for the remaining home games within the last few weeks. I was interested to see if people were buying the package but as I looked at the remaining seats and as successful as the team has been at home there are alot of seats left for purchase . I was surprised as I thought we might be halfway to a sellout due to the success of the team as well as the new ticket packages that were rolled out. Hopefully if we beat UTC this weekend the bye week will allow people to come around and buy tickets to possibly the biggest game to be played in Cullowhee in a long time

The next home game is 2 and a half weeks away. Typically, a lot of tickets are sold the week of the game. If we beat Chatt, the place will be full for Furman and Mercer. We had the biggest crowd in a long time against CSU. Rome was not built in a day. As we win more, we will have more people in the seats.

As discussed in some of the other threads, I still expect the crowd to be down a little for the Furman game because of Fall break. But I agree that the walk-up tickets and rest of the stadium will be pretty full if we win this weekend. Everybody loves a winner, so a lot is riding on the UTC game.
Heck - I even expect some FU and Mercer fans show up if each game keeps getting bigger and bigger!

I think HC will be a big crowd just because it is HC but i hope if we beat UTC the crowd will show for Furman but even as big as that game could be I have doubts the crowd size will match or beat the CSU game

My wife and I along with a couple of other WCU alums will be at the furman game but we haven't purchased tickets yet. First game I'll be in attendance since the monsoon HC game against them back in 2019 when I thought the Whee was going to wash away. Hoping for dryer/cooler weather and a lopsided W from The Cats this time around.

I think the issue is no matter how good the team is, there are only so many people that want to go watch a football game in Cullowhee/Sylva/Campus. I mean you can give a free ticket to a philosophy major as an example, and I’ll bet a lot of money that seat stays empty because they just don’t care and/or know nothing about football.

Despite our rural location and spotty track record we still draw better than just about everyone in the SoCon. Blows me away

It has always blows my mind, how we have the attendance records that we do in the rural area. I honestly would think that even at very small schools like furman and wofford being in bigger cities that people would show up to watch the games.

I know Boone is not as rural as it once was but it is still somewhat rural so how have they sold out every game for the last three years? I mean they draw 40K to Boone NC to watch a football game
