I reviewed the "available" seats in the stadium (the site does not give numbers for the general admission seats) - but there is not a lot of reserved seats left on either side. I'd think most, if not all, remaining seats would be taken by "walk-up" fans on Saturday. It looks like it will be a big day in Whitmire on Saturday. If the Cats continue this trend the remainder of the season, the only other fan base that will even come close would be Mercer. Just think what the Attendance would be if the Cats won a Southern Conference Championship. Some of us have been waiting for this for over 50 years. I've pondered this idea. What if we could do what UTC has done in recent history? We would be fightin each other for tickets.

Chattanooga had attendance of 9,020 in their one home game to-date. It will be interesting to see how much that number improves in their 20k stadium. If last season's figures how true, the number will not change a lot. I just don't understand how we have better numbers than these SoCon teams that are/have been ranked and making the playoffs. Throw that on top of being in a city that has 4x the population of jackson county. It's kinda sad that they have such a good product, that no one wants to see. My old HS literally has comparable attendance on many occasions. I've blasted multiple UT fans for being depressed when they say football season is over in TN cause UT didn't make a bowl game. I had to inform them that there was a top 10 (at the time) fcs team in chatty that was in the playoffs, that could really use the support. This from people who "really love football." they say they don't know much about D2. I shake my head and have to educate them some on the SoCon. NO idea where the SEC got it's start. So so sad.

Hard to tell on TV, but it looks like a pretty full house.
