i'll make this very clear..........i am not, have never been, nor ever will be an App St fan.
i will however give credit where it is due; App has a winning tradition, and continues to win week in and week out.
i cant stand the New England Patriots either.........but if coach speir called bill belichick this week to ask for advice, i'd be happy with that too!

He, as well as the rest of the staff, should be embarrassed by the product they put on the field against Samford. I know it "could" get worse but even 50 points is bad. When they win i will praise the team ans coaches and if they play a good team and lose close i will praise but when i see them play like they have done the last 2 weeks then i will judge them harshly

FWIW, here is what Massey says about the game running the numbers with WCU at home:
| WCU | UTC | Most Likely score
| 28 | 33 | Median score
| 27 | 33 | Mean score
| 28.10 | 33.47 | Win probability
| 36% | 64% |
His model does not take into account injuries - it strictly predicts numbers from a computerized model based on YTD performance of each team based on the teams they have played so far. I don't know about you guys, but I would just about sign-up right now for us only giving up 33 points. I think Chattanooga has a very predictable offense (they try to throw it to Nunnelly, or either Price or Tiano run the ball). So at least it shouldn't take rocket science to try and key on those 3 guys. But executing could be a different story. You do know that Massey has correctly predicted each of our wins and losses this season? Not necessarily the correct final scores, but each time WCU was projected to lose, WCU lost that game. Seeing only a 5 point difference will give many hope that the Cats can overcome 5 points, but there was also only a 5 or 6 point difference projected in last week's Samford game, and they scored 66 on our defense. You are right. We are doomed. I think the players should take Saturday off and not even come to the game. What's the point?

If you haven't looked, the Moc fans don't have much to say about this week's game on their message board. I guess it's no big deal over there?

Brights spots Nate Mullin addition to the team has made an immediate impact on returns and slot receiver. Good reason to consider more short and mid routes than deep and if not Qb run.
Concerns, why is one of our D Ends asking for a transfer out? Looking at the FCS ranking our team offense and Defence rate poorly over last year. Need to make adjustments that will place these players in the best position to win. Haven’t been able to stop scoring including the D2 game. Need to control that game clock to our advantage Let’s go Cats!

Massey ratings. 33 points?...we might hold them to 33 in the first half. I expect to lose by at least 3 tds tomorrow. I wish I was kidding.

My concern is that Chattanooga has GREAT passing statistics and that is where we get eat up. Hope there is a miracle cure because they are going to be ready to avenge last year's humiliating defeat in Chattanooga.
