I wish I saw this fire out of our head coach. I know if i was the HC i would be spitting nails but our coach does not seem that upset and says it is fixable, i feel good about where we are, etc....

Young is back and listed as the starter. Any word on if he is 100%? I know we can (and should) use all of the RBs, but as I have said several times I like him catching the ball - that can be either a security blanket underneath or a weapon down the field for our passing game.
Another note: by my calculations, Tyrie needs to average a combined 235 passing/rushing yards in each of the last 3 games to break Troy Mitchell's single-season record of 3096 yards. I expect we are going to need him to average a lot more than that in all 3 to hang around. He also needs to account for 7 more TDs to set the all-time record for TDs accounted for (also held by Mitchell).

The Citadel Football Press Conference 10/30/18 In this video he does not sound any different than Speir or any other coach. Pretty much he states he has to coach the changes, keep his patience, not the players fault, some plays here and there, execution, we have had and have some good opportunities to win, etc etc. Yeah, he may have been "fired up" right after the game, but some coaches lose their cool more than others. I don't see this as a lack of caring or passion thing.

I don't see this as a lack of caring or passion thing. The main thing I took from the Coaches Remarks, they intend to run the ball & control the clock. I’m going to be watching to see if Wiley will stay with his 4 down lineman against the run. I would play to shut down the run & make them throw the ball to beat me. Three & four down lineman will not stop an offense designed to get 3 or 4 yards per play. End play will be a big deal against a team like The Citadel. If they can successfully get outside our Defensive Ends, it will be a long day. WCU has to get ahead in the game & make The Citadel play catch-up. We know what they intend to do & it will be interesting to see how Wiley will counteract their game plan. This will tell me a lot about Wiley & his Coaching Ability.
