Wofford wins the SoCon’s automatic bid to the FCS playoffs by virtue of the league’s tiebreaker rules, and ETSU, Furman and Wofford share the SoCon regular-season title with a 6-2 conference record.
Samford quarterback Devlin Hodges becomes the FCS career leader in passing yardage, passing Steve McNair.

Wofford gets the auto bid with the tie breaker......ETSU finished 8-3 and should be in......FU is a bubble, and probably deserves to be in. They are playing good after a bad start to the season

I hope I am wrong, but I just don't see any of the SoCon teams going very deep in the playoffs. I think the conference was very average this year. No one showed me they were a dominant force

Some of the brackets I have seen have Furman lined up to play Kennesaw State if they win their first round game. If Furman has proved anything, it is they (particularly their DC) know how to play the triple option. The Paladins have won 6 of their last 7, so if they get in they might be poised to win a game or two.

Looks like Furman didn’t get in if I saw it right.

Only Wofford and ETSU made the playoffs, Furman was left out, while the CAA received 6 bids.
