Wake Forest has a weekend series (Fri-Sat-Sun) AT Clemson coming up. They are struggling in the ACC this year.
They might be planning to hang around WNC Wednesday and Thursday before going down the mountain to South Carolina. Probably better than going back east on I-40 and then down I-85 on Thursday.

We should have a good chance at beating them. Catman is absolutely correct. Coach Mo appears to not take mid-week games seriously. Do we have a good chance to beat Wake Forest, we sure do. Watch who is his starting pitcher & that will give you an indication if he is playing to win the game. If you have played about 30 games this season & you do not know the capabilities of your pitching staff, where has the coaches been during preseason & during the season. I watched very poor coaching in the first & last game of the Samford series. When you get to the 8th & 9th innings of a ball game, you should have pitchers warming up in the bullpen that can come into the game quickly. I saw none of that happening in those Samford Games. Coach Mo does not get pitchers in the bullpen until his pitcher gets in deep trouble.

Wow....Disappointment.....Never had a chance.... This is what you get when you throw 3rd & 4th string pitchers against a Power 5 team. Obviously, Coach Mo doesn’t mind watching an ACC Team destroy the Catamounts. It is an embarrassment & humiliation to see the Cats destroyed because of weak pitching. If Western comes back in the game it will because of hitting. Right now it is 12 to 3.

Yep, very ugly.
When I looked at the WF schedule earlier in the week, I noticed they had beat Appy State twice this season, 15-7 and 12-0. Now I know how.
