Not taking any side here, but it should be pointed out that we won the tournament in 2016.

Lamar Hennon just loved college baseball, and, I think Dr. Bardo believed he would try to takeover our baseball program, and Dr. Bardo wanted to let Lamar know that he(Dr. Bardo) was in charge. Dr. Bardo summoned Lamar to meet in his office in Cullowhee at 7am, and told him not to be late. Lamar did not like being talked down to, as Lamar said that he felt like Dr. Bardo had talked to him. Lamar had written a check to go to our athletics for 50,000 dollars for baseball, and after his phone call from Dr. Bardo, Lamar decided to not give the AD the check, which we could have used. RIP Dr. Bardo, Ms. Bardo, and Lamar Hennon. The three of you did some very good things for the University. GO CATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That’s certainly part of it. Another time they had early meeting and Bardo didn’t meet w him cause there was a fight at one frats night before and he had to handle it. One of the biggest issues probably biggest actually was Mr Hennon wanted Mackie to do the work. Bardo said they have to bid it out. Im sure they could have got around that but physical plant got pissed. I know a few of you know Mackie and know how good of man he is. He was always around helping anyway could

You are correct about Lamar wanting his friend to do the baseball facility improvements and Dr. Bardo correctly told him that NC required bids to have to be done to be in compliance with the state regulations. 32, were you a former very good pitcher for the Cats, and did you work and live in Dalton, Ga.

Dont know what ya talkin about 🤔 If they wanted to get it done they would have. I was there when happened and spent countless road trips to ballparks talking about that and much more. That was longtime ago and most no longer with us. Its amazing the success all the coaches have had over years. Hope they add clubhouse instead of what seems to be next on list. I dont think i have seen you guys without purple WCU polos 👍👍
