Is there a stat for pinch hit batting average? If so, Moranda’s has to be over .750 the last 3-4 games.

Wofford is the best team in the conference. No matter the score, I still support the team and the coaches and the players. We have 2 more games this weekend. We might get blown out all weekend which makes some folks on here very happy because they want the season to end badly so they can continue to bash the coach. Last week when we played well and swept Mercer all of the naysayers and fair weather fans stayed quiet because they do not want us to win and they want to say that if we just got another coach we would win 40 games and make the regional every year. That’s just not true and folks who believe that are just flat wrong. It is much harder to win in mid major baseball than it was just 10 years ago and we have the worst facilities in the SoCon in baseball. You could bring Jack Leggett back and he would do no better than Moranda. Many folks are living in the past and don’t understand what it takes to win today. We may not win another game this year but I refuse to bash the players and the coaches. It’s all about the budget and facilities.
